Nicholas Remondino fell in love with the drums from an early age and after an initial period of study at the Academy of Modern Music, he began attending the Siena Jazz University studying with Enrico Morello and Ettore Fioravanti; in the same years he developed interest and sensitivity towards improvisation that led him to follow workshops with musicians such as Ernst Reijseger, Giancarlo Schiaffini and Susanne Abbuehl in prestigious institutions such as the Accademia Chigiana of Siena, and other important workshops and concerts organized from improvisational realities and playing with international artists such as Akira Sakata, Gino Robair, Martin Mayes and improvisers of the Italian scene like Stefano Battaglia, Alessandro Giachero, Giovanni Di Domenico, Silvia Bolognesi, Fabrizio Puglisi, Michele Anelli, Alessandra Patrucco. From these meetings many experimental projects are born, ranging from jazz, radical improvisation, contemporary music, folk, pop and electronic music.
