massimiliano furia begun playing at the age of 12, mostly self-thought he later started studying with m. enrico botti and walter calloni to enforce his pop-rock basis. during 2004 he got deeply involved in jazz recording with luca cosi the cds “i colori del suono” and “i suoni del castello”, playing in jazz festivals and clubs around italy.
he sets his jazz drumming basis studying with marco volpe and in seminars with alfred kramer, ettore fioravanti, ellade bandini, bobby durham, dimitri grechi espinosa, gegè munari, maurizio gianmarco, cris culpo, andrea pozza, larry granadier, jeff ballard and fabrizio sferra.
he shares the stage and studio with artist such as mauro avanzini, pietro leveratto, achille succi, cris culpo, fabio zeppetella, pietro tonolo, stefano calzolari, renato sellani, nico vernuccio, luigi bonafede.
since 2010 he has been involved in the workshop with stefano battaglia, andrea massaria and fiorenzo bodrato, which is the origin of the recording of the cd “bartleby the scrivener”.
