fabrizio puglisi pianist and composer has studied jazz improvisation at seminari senesi (siena) with, among the others, franco d’andrea, enrico rava and bruno tommaso. graduated with the higher marks at the department of art, music and performing arts (dams) of the university of bologna. he is member of musicians’ association bassesfere for the development of improvised and avant-garde music. .

during the last years he has spent some time in amsterdam collaborating with musicians of the dutch jazz and improvised scene such as tristan honsinger, sean bergin, ab baars, ernst reijseger, ernst glerum, han bennink, rob armus. he also collaborated among the others with: lester bowie, don moye, louis sclavis, john zorn, kenny wheeler, david murray, steve lacy, george russell, steve grossman, enrico rava, dave liebman, yves robert, butch morris, italian instabile orchestra, ronnie cuber, michel godard, deus ex machina, richard galliano, paolo fresu, sal nistico, roy paci, cristina zavalloni, gianluca petrella, matthias schubert.
